WHY OUR HAIR TREATMENTS IS DIFFERENT

Why Our Hair Treatments Is Different

Treatments That Actually Work

Most salon "treatments" are conditioning masks with a markup. Olaplex and K18 are different: they rebuild the bonds inside your hair that color, bleach, and heat break down. The difference shows up two weeks later, not just the day you leave our chair. Our stylists match the treatment to the actual problem, bond builders for chemical damage, gloss for shine and tone, deep conditioning for dryness, protein for elasticity, and tell you exactly what to use at home so the results last.

Bond builders for chemical damage. Gloss for color refresh and shine. Deep conditioners for dryness. Protein treatments for elasticity. We pick what fits your hair, not what the salon wants to upsell.

A great in salon treatment plus the wrong at home routine equals damage that comes back fast.

We tell you what to use at home to maintain results.

PROVIDER

Who Performs Your Treatment

Most stylists on our team can perform hair treatments. If you have a regular stylist, they will incorporate the treatment into your visit. If you are booking just for a treatment, the front desk pairs you with whichever stylist has the right opening.

What We Offer

Olaplex Treatment

Bond builder applied during or after color services. Repairs broken disulfide bonds in the hair from chemical processing. Best for highlights, balayage, color corrections, or any chemically processed hair.

K18 Treatment

A 4 minute molecular bond repair treatment. Different mechanism than Olaplex. Many stylists use both depending on the situation. Excellent for visibly damaged hair, breakage, or chemical overprocessing.

Gloss / Glaze

A semi permanent color treatment that adds shine, refreshes existing color, and corrects unwanted tones. Lasts 4 to 8 weeks. Great between full color appointments to extend results.

Deep Conditioning Treatment

Intensive moisture treatment for dry, brittle, or chemically processed hair. Includes scalp massage and steam application for maximum penetration.

Protein Treatment

For hair that has lost elasticity (stretches but does not bounce back). Adds keratin and amino acids to rebuild structure. Often paired with deep conditioning.

Scalp Treatment

Targeted scalp care for dryness, flakiness, or buildup. Includes scalp exfoliation and treatment masks.

Add On to Any Service

Most treatments can be added to your existing cut, color, or blowout appointment. Tell us when you book or ask your stylist when you arrive.

Not Sure Which Treatment Fits?

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your First Visit

Step 1: Hair Analysis

Your stylist examines your hair, asks about your routine, and identifies what your hair actually needs. Most clients overestimate dryness and underestimate bond damage, or vice versa.

Step 2: Treatment Selection

Your stylist explains what each option will and will not do. Treatments are not interchangeable.

Step 3: Application

Most treatments take 15 to 45 minutes depending on the type. Some are applied during your color service, others as a standalone visit.

Step 4: At Home Plan

Stylist walks you through what to do (and not do) for the next week to protect the treatment.

Aftercare

  • Wait 24 to 48 hours before washing if your stylist recommends it.
  • Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner.
  • Limit heat styling for the first week.
  • Use heat protectant when you do style.
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
  • Schedule treatments regularly for best results (every 4 to 8 weeks for ongoing maintenance).

FAQ

Hair Treatments FAQs

  • How often should I get a treatment?

Depends on damage. Heavy color clients: every visit. Mild damage or maintenance: every 4 to 8weeks. Severe damage: weekly for the first month, then taper.

  • Will Olaplex fix all my damage?

Olaplex repairs bond damage from chemical processing. It does not fix dryness, split ends, or mechanical damage from heat styling. Your stylist will tell you if Olaplex is the right tool for what you are dealing with.

  • What is the difference between Olaplex and K18?

Different molecular targets. Olaplex repairs disulfide bonds. K18 repairs polypeptide chains. Both rebuild structure but at different points. Many stylists use both depending on the case.

  • Will a gloss change my color?

Slightly. Gloss is meant to enhance and refine existing color, not create dramatic change. Tones can shift (warmer, cooler, more vibrant) but levels do not.

  • Can I do a treatment at home?

Some yes (at home Olaplex is a real product). Others no (true K18 is only available salon side). At home treatments give incremental help. Salon treatments give a meaningful boost.

  • How long does a treatment last?

Bond builders last 1 to 2 weeks of visible difference, but the structural repair is permanent until the hair grows out or is processed again. Glosses last 4 to 8 weeks.

  • Can I do a treatment if my hair is healthy?

Yes. Healthy hair benefits from preventative care, especially before planned color services or harsh seasonal weather.

  • Will a treatment make my hair greasy?

No. Modern treatments rinse cleanly. If your hair feels greasy after, it was probably overconditioned for your hair type. Tell your stylist next time.

  • How much do treatments cost?

Pricing varies by treatment type and length of hair. Add ons to existing services are priced lower than standalone treatment visits. Stylist will quote at your appointment.

  • Are treatments worth it for color clients?

Almost always yes. Bond builders during bleach work or color correction reduce damage and protect tone. Most experienced colorists recommend them as standard.
